Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LifeHQ ("LifeHQ," "we," "us," or "our"), a personal life management application operated at lifehq.io. By creating an account or using LifeHQ, you agree to these Terms.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using LifeHQ, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of service

LifeHQ is a personal life management application that helps you organize calendar events, tasks, finances, messages, and AI-powered briefings in one place. Features vary by subscription tier. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

User accounts and responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information and keeping it up to date.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Complying with applicable laws and these Terms when using LifeHQ.

Notify us immediately at admin@lifehq.io if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Subscription tiers and billing

LifeHQ offers the following plans:

• Free — core features at no charge, subject to usage limits described in the app.
• Pro — $5.99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe.
• Premium — $9.99 per month, billed monthly through Stripe.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Prices may change with reasonable notice. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Use LifeHQ for any unlawful purpose or in violation of third-party terms.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
• Upload malicious code or use the service to spam or harass others.
• Misrepresent your identity or use the service on behalf of others without authorization.

Intellectual property

LifeHQ and its content, features, branding, and software are owned by LifeHQ and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you provide. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use LifeHQ for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Third-party services

LifeHQ integrates with third-party services including Google (OAuth, Gmail, Calendar), Plaid (banking), and Stripe (payments). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

Disclaimer of warranties

LifeHQ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will always be accurate or complete.

What LifeHQ is — and isn't

LifeHQ is a productivity tool meant to help you stay organized — not a guarantee that everything in your life will run perfectly. We do our best to surface appointments, bills, and reminders from the accounts you connect, but syncing can be delayed or incomplete, and AI summaries may miss something important.

We are not responsible for missed appointments, missed bills, late payments, or any other damages that result from incomplete syncing, delayed updates, or information you did not double-check yourself. You remain responsible for your own calendar, finances, and obligations.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LifeHQ and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim related to LifeHQ shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

Changes to terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
